From initial design to the finished kitchen, the process went very well. We wanted to open up our living area by removing a wall separating the kitchen from the dining room - living room and creating an island. We had limited space but our designer, John De luca, created a beautiful plan, including architectural renderings, which allowed us to have not only an open floor plan but also the island and an added bar and we still have a dining room! In addition, he gave us an attractive walk-in pantry with a sliding translucent glass door which adds lots of storage space. His choices for cabinetry, lighting, back splash, etc plus his recommendations for flooring and counter tops were perfect for our new contemporary kitchen. Ryan Terrell, our project manager, has been great to work with throughout the remodel. He provided us with a detailed schedule for the project and stayed on schedule. He was always available and attentive, always concerned that our needs were being met in a timely fashion. All of the specialists and other professionals on this project were top flight and took a lot of pride in their work. We are very happy with our new kitchen and living space. Thanks Remodel Works! It has been a pleasure working with you.

The remodeling and design went very well. Designer, John DeLuca, took the time to make sure that we got the look and feel that we wanted. Project manager, Jeff Aldridge, set up work schedule that worked out very efficiently for us. He stopped by everyday to check on the progress and answer questions we might have about the project. The technician, Ashley Kruckenberg, was prompt and reliable. He made us feel comfortable in any of the work that he was doing.

I had interviewed many contractors and construction companies, but they were either too expensive or sketchy. After having her bathroom remodeled, a friend recommended Remodel Works. I dropped into their showroom to check it out. I was greeted by a very enthusiastic designer, John Deluca, who gave me an orientation on the products, process and possibilities that would fit within my budget. I decided to go with Remodel Works because they were a long-time family-owned business; the design fit my budget; and I wanted peace of mind. The process was relatively painless. John Deluca came to the house to take initial measurements and then proceeded to computer generate a design. Once we agreed on the design, cabinets, fixtures, etc. and I signed on the dotted line, the project was then handed over to the project manager, Lance Hawkins. Lance came to the house and re-measured the kitchen; confirmed the design; and walked me through the process and timeline. Once the project started, the workers followed the calendar religiously and even finished earlier than expected. All the employees were very professional and cleaned up after themselves every day. The Danish guy who installed the cabinets was friendly and fast. Paul who installed the tile and appliances was meticulous and very detailed. Best of all, was Lance who was responsive to all my calls, emails and texts. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. Now I have a beautiful and functional kitchen that comes with a warranty and I have recommended Remodel Works to my friends.

We were extremely impressed with Remodel Works professionalism and craftsmanship. From our first meeting with Mary who designed the bathroom and John who designed the kitchen to the final inspection they were amazing. We had them remodel our kitchen and one of our bathrooms simultaneously and in December when they gave us the schedule they kept to it to the letter as far as what was to be done each day and who was to be there to do it. They told us exactly what they were going to do and itemized everything that went into the project and the cost. They paid attention to every detail and finished the project a day before the projected finish date. Lance, the project manager, would come by often to check on the progress and make the final inspection when the job was completed. And Brett, who was here most days doing all the labor along with help from Mike, and Paul, who installed all the appliances did a fantastic job. We cannot speak highly enough of all the team and we recommend them highly. We have 2 more bathrooms to remodel and we will definitely use Remodel Works again!

Everything went pretty much according to the timeline/schedule that Royce discussed with me prior to the project start. We had a hiccup with my flooring contractor ( different company) removing the old ceramic tile and re-installing the new hardwood floor on Remodel Works timeline but Royce accommodated the scheduling issue, overcame the difficulty and still completed the job on time.
I highly recommend Remodel works and John Deluca for any kitchen or bath project. John worked hard to accommodate the budget we had to give us the best bang for the buck as we paid directly for the granite counter tops, kitchen sink, toilet, faucet and appliances that Remodel Works installed.
We love our new kitchen and bathroom.
Description of work:
Full demo of the kitchen and 1-bathroom, removed the old bathtub and built out a better tiled shower, shower, door and faucets, Install new tile flooring, cabinets, granite counter top with 2-sinks, drywall work, texture and a new toilet was installed.
New kitchen design by John Deluca moved the oven/range and refrigerator to new locations for better work flow and demo old kitchen cabinets and appliances, install new cherry cabinets with under cabinet LED lighting, granite counter tops, moved electrical, drywall and plumbing as needed and installed new appliances that we purchased separately. John did a
great job with the design and Royce the project manager made sure the job was done on time.

The kitchen designer was outstanding and solved all the problems we wanted fixed, with a completely new layout. He was completely right about how the layout would work out in practice. I love love love my new kitchen!
The designer did fail to discuss lighting alternatives. Once the work was complete, we were very unhappy with the overhead lights. My suspicion is that he was trying to keep the cost down, and in fairness, I did not express any interest in the details of the lights during the design phase. But when we saw bare fluorescent bulbs, we felt they were completely unacceptable and had them replaced with LEDs. We really doubted that anyone would want those lights, unless they were just trying to do as cheap a job as possible within the constraints of current energy-use regulations, like for a flip or a rental, so we were unhappy that we had to pay for light installation twice instead of just buying better lights in the first place.
The company is absolutely committed to staying on schedule. One of the reasons I chose them was that I thought they would offer minimal hassle and I absolutely believe they provided that. A kitchen remodel is an enormous pain but I cannot imagine that this much work could get done with any less headache. There were some mistakes and some problems, but we never doubted the project manager's commitment to "make it right."
I felt they could improve their oversight of subcontractors and their internal warehouse operations. Also, it seemed that some requests would "fall through the cracks" if I did not continue to follow up myself. I think most of that is because they stay really busy because their reputation keeps them in demand. And they definitely work on improving their processes so whatever mistakes I saw aren't likely to happen again.
Their employees are professional, careful, and extremely polite. They all show the same commitment to doing a good job.
I will use them again for a bathroom remodel when I get around to it.

He was wonderful. I highly recommend him. We didn't even know there was construction going on in our home. He was on time with every aspect of the project.

They did a wonderful job. Everything looks beautiful compared to the way it looked. The designer, John, understood my vision and was able to bring it to life. Now, I have a very modern kitchen. The project manager was great to work with as well. He name was Gary. He was very professional, accommodating and readily available for any questions or concerns.

I completely remodeled my kitchen and dining room. I had three contractors propose the job. I hired Remodel Works because of the professional manner in which they helped me with the design, careful way they measured (and re-measured) the area to be remodeled, and the very specific and understandable proposal they provided for the work to be performed. The proposal and contract covered everything and there were no surprises throughout the five weeks of demolition and construction.
I appreciated the careful attention the designer, John De Luca, took to measure everything, assist with problem areas such as flooring solutions and make very helpful suggestions about the type of cabinets and drawers I would want to have in my new kitchen so I would end up with a very useful and beautiful work space.
Prior to the start of the job, I received an unexpected phone call from the owner of the company thanking me for my business. Then, my Designer, John De Luca and my Project Manager, Royce Ramswick came to my home prior to the job start to make sure everything was properly measured, identified and there were no visible surprises in the work that needed to be done.
Also prior to construction, I received a very detailed work schedule listing everything that was to be done, the date it would be completed and the person/persons who would be performing the work. On days when the projects underway would be especially messy or noisy, I was notified so I could leave the house if necessary. My Project Manager also worked closely with the painting and flooring sub-contractors to make sure everyone would be on time and on schedule. Materials were delivered prior to the start of the job and my project manager came over to take inventory and make sure everything was on hand to complete the work.
All the work was done as represented. Everything was completed according to the schedule I was given at the start of the job. Any and every problem was handled immediately and the schedule was never impacted. The crew members, Seth, Paul and Gerry were polite, patient with my questions and kept everything as neat and clean as I expected a "demolition/construction" zone to be. My Project Manager regularly monitored the project and when I had a question or issue, he managed everything right away and made sure we understood each other. I initiated a couple of minor changes during the job and these changes were handled by John and Royce without hesitation to my complete satisfaction.
From start to finish this was a very good experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend Remodel Works for a kitchen remodel job, and plan to use them again when I'm ready to remodel my bathroom.
