This letter is in appreciation for the wonderful help that Mr. John De Luca gave us in designing and walking us through the construction of our newly completed, lovely kitchen.
My wife, Sharon, and I didn't quite understand what we were getting into when we started. Mr. De Luca helped us with the highest degree of professionalism. He guided us with skill, patience and genuine warmth. Decisions from cabinets knobs to placement of the microwave, to the design of a peninsula, to choice of materials for countertops - everything was done with loving care. Mr. De Luca's creative vision is truly innovative, remarkable and exciting. He transformed a closed, dark space into a burst of light. You must come and see this kitchen for yourself.
We can't say enough about Mr. De Luca. It is because of him that we are now faithful customers and refer our friends to your kitchen showroom. The kitchen is the highpoint of our home and quite a surprise to those who remember the old closed-in model. When they ask who designed such a spacious, bright kitchen, we happily say, "Master Kitchen Maker John De Luca."
Again, our heartfelt thanks to Mr. De Luca for helping us design and build what has turned out to be the heart of our home and a place which brings great joy!
With warmest regards,
Sam and Sharon
Dear John, our home is your home. Thanks for bringing such a nice sparkle of love to it.

Why did I wait so long?
After reviewing comments on Angie’s List, Yelp etc. and actually receiving a referral from another San Diego based kitchen and bath company, Remodel Works was consistently highly recommended.
One morning, bright and early, John the Remodel Works designer was ringing my front doorbell. As we toured the kitchen and bathroom together, I shared my ideas. After my thoughts had been fully expressed, he offered options I had never even thought about. By the time he left my house I knew I had found the right man for the job - I knew we would work well together.
My next appointment was at the Remodel Works showroom. John sat me down in his office, turned the computer monitor my way and began reviewing my new kitchen and bath designs. I was so pleased that all we had talked about was now in front of me in living color, what a beautiful design.
The Remodel Works showroom was instrumental in displaying the cabinetry, including lazy susan, under counter microwave, trash storage, wine storage, rollout trays and pop-up shelf (for small appliances). We selected the materials for the countertop, backsplash, flooring, hardware etc. It was great to see all the materials and colors come together in one place in their showroom.
Needless to say, I am thrilled with the end result – it’s a perfect kitchen and a perfect bathroom and I couldn’t be happier! I highly recommend Remodel Works and hope your experience will be as wonderful as well.
On a final note: I just wanted to say that it took me over a year to finally receive the financing for my remodel project, but John never lost patience with me and never gave up on me.
Thank You John

We have been remiss in not writing sooner to thank the team at Remodel Works for an outstanding experience in our recent home remodel. Our designers, John De Luca and Mary Jennings, our project manager, Royce Ramswick, and all of the workers and subs did a simply remarkable job.
Our remodel was not a simple one. We live on the 14th floor of a 1970’s era high rise, with only two elevators, no real staging space and lots of rules and restrictions on workers. We also have numerous neighbors who do not hesitate to voice their concerns. Yet, we did not receive ONE complaint during the entire project. Rather, many of our neighbors went out of their way to praise the workmen for their politeness, cleanliness and general adherence to the rules of the building.
Most of our friends and acquaintances just laughed when they heard about the scope of the project and the less than 2-month timeline, yet we were able to move back into the unit on time with only minor details to be completed. This was despite the fact that we added a great deal of work outside the scope of RWK&B’s project, yet Royce accommodated the extra work so that it could be done on time. He kept up a constant stream of communication with the subs and with us so that we all stayed on the same page throughout.
Finally, and ultimately most important, the unit looks gorgeous. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and bathrooms, from design to finish. We truly feel that we have a beautiful new home that will stand the test of time.
We would be most pleased to recommend the company to anyone considering a San Diego area remodel.
With sincere thanks,
Miriam Frank

To Whom It May Concern,
First of all, we want to than Mr. John De Luca C.K.D. for the sensational and breathtaking completion of our new dream kitchen.
During the initial stages of planning (searching through numerous magazines, and spending countless hours window shopping, etc.) we formulated ideas for our "new" kitchen, but it wasn't realized until our meeting with John De Luca that our ideas began to actually materialize. His expert opinions and dynamic personality were instrumental in the "sale" of this new project. To put it in a nutshell, "we are ecstatic about the results."
The mental challenges my wife and I faced concerning design, space consideration and lighting, seemed almost insurmountable, but with Mr. De Luca's seasoned knowledge and professionalism, the goal was easily accomplished. We had never heard the term C.K.D. (Certified Kitchen Designer) before, but thank God we stumbled upon John, (his training certainly paid off) as we have - too often - heard of the horror stories synonymous with kitchen remodeling. The neighbors are in "awe" of our new kitchen and want to know "who did it?" We proudly say, "John De Luca C.K.D."
The installation was superb. After all, what good is a great design if the design cannot be properly executed. The professionalism and friendly attitude had by all, made the inconvenience of a kitchen remodel all the more bearable.
Again, we want to thank John De Luca for his invaluable assistance in making this a "dream come true."
We also would like to mention that you can count on us for all future remodeling endeavors.

REMODEL WORKS BATH & KITCHEN REVIEW FOR ANGIE'S LIST
SCOPE OF WORK: Kitchen & Master Bath Remodel
I have been trying to start my kitchen and bath remodel project for years. First and foremost I needed to select the right design/build firm, one that I could trust. I simply could not imagine going through all the chaos and expense without having referrals from actual clients of the company I would choose. Angie's List saved the day.
After reading many of the reviews on Angie’s List, Remodel Works Bath and Kitchen in Poway was my first choice. I especially loved the fact that Remodel Works has received the Angie’s List Super Service Award for the past 10 years - in a row!
My inner peace has and always will be one of my top priorities in life. Accordingly, I try my best to make good decisions to preserve it - Remodel Works was one of those good decisions.
My first contact was with John De Luca; one of the senior kitchen designers at Remodel Works. I was immediately impressed with his warmth and friendly attitude. His keen eye for design, coupled with impressive credentials made me feel confident from the get-go. I now enjoy a kitchen that one can only dream about. It is a perfect combination of form and function, a work of art, absolutely beautiful.
Mary Jennings, my bathroom designer, helped make my vision become a reality. She assisted me in choosing the right materials that made the finished product everything I was hoping for. My shower is the most beautiful one I have ever seen. Mary was kind, sweet and personable.
My project manager, Lance, was constantly in my home making certain that all was done to Remodel Works high standards, in other words – to perfection. I felt comfortable with Lance in my home, he was a delight. In the end, Lance, Mary and John felt like family.
I also truly appreciate the installers, Dennis and Bret, who were in my home the most and did the majority of the work. They tore out the old and laid the foundation for the new. I especially liked the attention Bret made to the details and Dennis seemed to have knowledge and expertise in so many areas - he could do anything. What a team!
From the designers to the project manager and everyone else who worked in my home, all were amazing. They were friendly, polite, genuine and respectful with a positive attitude, sense of humor and always professional.
Overall, I am ecstatic about my new kitchen and master bathroom - they are magnificent and bring me joy. When I look at them, I still can't believe it’s my house.
Thank you Remodel Works and Angie's List

A word of caution, for anyone with respiratory concerns, I highly recommend, during the demolition period, stay out of the house.

Dear John (Mary and Royce),
I hope this gets you the recognition you deserve!

Dear Joe Christianson,
We would like to offer our commendation for the Remodel Works team responsible for the excellent remodel of our condominium at 666 Upas St. (unit 901) in Fall/Winter 2015-6. The designers, John De Luca for the kitchen, and Mary Jennings for the two baths, were knowledgeable about materials and creative with the designs, all the while responding to our wishes and ideas. Royce Ramswick did a fine job coordinating and managing the installation, a job that involved working with the wider Remodel Works team as well as sub-contractors for the hardwood floor, drywall reconstruction, plumbing, and electrical work. With the help of John and Mary, we were able to efficiently find many of the fittings and finishes we wanted in your own showroom.
This was an extensive remodel that involved the removal and relocation of walls to open out the kitchen into the living/dining “great room,” create a dry bar where a closet had been, enlarge the study, and re-conceive lighting and wiring throughout. Whereas the kitchen had been sealed away behind a cube of mirrors, now even the cook can appreciate the spectacular views we have from our perch high above Balboa Park. The entertainment area adjacent to the kitchen offers a big screen TV visible from seating at the large kitchen island, as well as the living room. We are very happy with the selection of cabinets and countertops, and the location and convenience of spice racks and sliding shelves.
While we did not change the footprint of the two baths, we are pleased with features that lend elegance and convenient storage to these limited spaces. A pony wall hides the toilet to guests who might want to use the bathroom merely to wash hands. The shower in the master bath was designed to offer a convenient little seat and an attractive glass door. Safety is also assured by well-located but still attractive hold bars. We were encouraged to find remnant pieces of quartz and granite that offered us both variety and economy in top quality finishes.
We have already recommended Remodel Works and our special team to other residents of Del Prado interested in extensive remodels. Indeed it was helpful to be shown previous fine work the firm has done in the building, when we were deciding on contractors.
Yours sincerely,
Bonnie and Tom Scott

To: Joe Christianson, David Schultz & John De Luca
I have heard many horror stories about remodeling, but Remodel Works is not one of them. I chose to have my bath and kitchen remodeled, and John De Luca came out to do the design. He was very professional, friendly, and actually spent half a day with us to get the plans exactly the way we wanted them. His suggestions were awesome, and he worked with us to get the price we needed.
Supervisor, Pat Luich was delightful to work with. He was always on time, helpful in each stage of the remodeling process, and more than accommodating in giving us the best possible workmanship.
Paul did most of the kitchen work; he is a real perfectionist and treated our house as if it were his own.
I highly recommend Remodel Works for the best experience in remodeling. I can see why Remodel Works was recently rated number ONE by a poll taken by The San Diego Union Tribune.
I Am One Very Happy Customer!

We were extremely impressed with Remodel Works professionalism and craftsmanship. From our first meeting with Mary who designed the bathroom and John who designed the kitchen to the final inspection they were amazing. We had them remodel our kitchen and one of our bathrooms simultaneously and in December when they gave us the schedule they kept to it to the letter as far as what was to be done each day and who was to be there to do it. They told us exactly what they were going to do and itemized everything that went into the project and the cost. They paid attention to every detail and finished the project a day before the projected finish date. Lance, the project manager, would come by often to check on the progress and make the final inspection when the job was completed. And Brett, who was here most days doing all the labor along with help from Mike, and Paul, who installed all the appliances did a fantastic job. We cannot speak highly enough of all the team and we recommend them highly. We have 2 more bathrooms to remodel and we will definitely use Remodel Works again!

Remodel Works Testimonial
We highly recommend Remodel Works. We had 6 estimates while planning our project. Remodel Works was by far the best for our money. Recently we had our kitchen remodeled and it was a great experience. We had a schedule in hand before they started and they stuck to it. They were on time, on schedule, dependable, neat and tidy and very easy to work with. Gary Edwards, our project manager, addressed every question we had, usually the same day, in addition to suggesting a few “extra” tiles in a spot that was not included, but in the end it completed the look. John De Luca, our Sales Consultant did not try to oversell us or over design our kitchen. The design was fresh, modern and fit right in with the rest of the house. He was very open to our needs and paid attention to details that we may have overlooked. Our kitchen is beautiful! Remodel Works is a professional company with a friendly feel.

Adele and I are very happy with the remodel of our kitchen and bath. John was wonderful in working with us on the actual design. He had patience with us as we bounced around looking at different options and asking all kinds of questions on materials, colors, options, etc. John did a great job incorporating some aspects that we wouldn't have thought of, or tried on our own, but we went with his suggestions and they turned out excellent.
Royce was great as our project manager. He moved the project along to the schedule he had provided. He was also available whenever we had questions, and he was very accommodating to our “special needs.” Everything was completed on time per the Technician Schedule.
We originally started out with just the kitchen remodel, but decided on the bath too, after we discovered a leak and mold problem. John, Royce, and Dave (GM) helped out in this situation by scheduling us in quickly for the bath remodel, even though Remodel Works was very busy at the time.
Everyone that worked here was professional and friendly. In particular we remember Eddie, Josh and Kim. We felt that they did quality work, were well organized, answered any questions we would have, and always cleaned up and left things organized at the end of the day.
We also had our floors re-done by one of the contractors John recommended, Highland Flooring. We found this company and her employees of the same caliber as Remodel works - friendly and professional. Zac was very patient and helpful in helping us decide exactly what would be done with our flooring throughout the entire first floor. Cam and Brian did an excellent job.
